This policy explains what data Pawcrit collects, how it's used, and your rights. We aim to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Analytics: aggregated, anonymous page views via Google Analytics 4. We do not identify individual readers.
- Affiliate referrals: when you click an outbound product link, the retailer's cookie identifies the referral. This is set by the retailer (Amazon, Chewy, etc.), not by us.
- Newsletter (optional): if you subscribe, we store your email with our newsletter provider. You can unsubscribe at any time — the link is in every email.
- Correspondence: if you email us, we keep that email to answer it. We don't sell it or use it for marketing.
What we don't do
- Sell your data to third parties.
- Build advertising profiles.
- Track you across sites beyond the affiliate-referral cookie set by retailers.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can request access to any data we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted, or object to its use. Write to [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use cookies only for analytics (aggregated page views) and referral tracking on outbound affiliate links. There are no advertising cookies.
